What is dolocartigen for?
- Thanks to the joint action of its active ingredients, dolocartigen®acts to inhibit proinflammatory and pro-catabolic cytokinessuch as interleukin-1, responsible for the degradation of articular cartilage as well as the inhibition of enzymes that degrade cartilage. It also produces an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, contributing to the long-term treatment of pain and inflammation.
- It is used to treat:
- The pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. (4)
- Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis . (5)
- Degenerative joint disease and related diseases.
Dosage and routes of administration of dolocartigen
The presentation of dolocartigen® is in a box with capsules containing diacerein 50 mg and meloxicam 15 mgtag. The route of administration is oral and the dosage as a reference can be as follows:
- Dolocartigen® capsules: One capsule daily, preferably taken with meals at night, for the time indicated by your doctor.
Dolocartigen Side Effects
Therapeutic treatment with dolocartigen® Can cause some of the following side effects in certain people:
- Possible allergic reactions due to patient contact with any of the components of the formula.
- Diarrhea , loose stools, and abdominal pain .
- Darkening of urine color.
- Dyspepsia, nausea.
- Vomiting , constipation and flatulence.
- Cutaneous rash, dizziness and edema.

Contraindications and warnings of dolocartigen
The consumption of this pharmaceutical product is contraindicated in any of the following circumstances:
- Patient hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug formula or anthraquinone derivatives.
- Children under 15 years of age.
- Patients with severe hepatic and renal insufficiency.
- During the pregnancy period.
- During breastfeeding .
You should know: Before starting treatment with this medicine, the patient must provide all the information related to their health history to their doctor.
Avoid if you have:
- History of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula or to anthraquinone derivatives.
- History of medication with acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Warnings:
