What is vasculflow?
Vasculflow® is the nameof a commercial line medical product, whose active substances in the formula are the mineral calcium dobesylate and diosmin hesperidin. These types of components are capable of providingcardiovascular protection and antioxidantcharacteristics for the symptoms or signs of venous insufficiency, acute hemorrhoidal crises orhemorrhoids.

What is vasculflow for?
- The drug vasculflow® has a complex mechanism of action, on the one hand the substance of diosmin together with calcium dobesylate are responsible forstrengthening the permeability and resistance of tiny blood vessels, including capillary walls and functional states of hemorrhoids. Dosage and routes of administration of vasculflow
The medication vasculflow® is only available in Box presentations with tablets from 225 mg to 250 mg (250 mg calcium dobesylate, 225 mg diosmin and from 225 mg to 250 mg(250 mg of calcium dobesilate, 225 mg of diosmin and 25 mg of hesperidin), which is administered orally. Therefore, the recommended doses of vasculflow® are as follows in one treatment:
- Adults: It is recommended to administer 1 tablet of 225 mg every 12 or up to 24 hours, with food included for better absorption, especially during venous insufficiency.
VasculFlow Side Effects
Vasculflow® tablets have a positive action, however their absorption and use can bring different adverse effects in the treatmentand it is recommended to have prior information or precautions regarding them. The most common reactions are the following:
- Nausea.
- Fever .
- Allergic skin reactions (mainly rash).
- Discomfort in the gastrointestinal system.
Important: If the secondary reactions are prolonged, it is necessary to suspend the use of the medication to see a specialist doctor and receive more information about the state of health.
Contraindications and warnings of vasculflow
Vasculflow®, like other medications, is not indicated for certain patients, however its restrictions are very few, even so prior knowledge of it must be known. It is not recommended for the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the formula (diosmin hesperidin calcium dobesilate).
- Pregnancy and lactation stage .
- Pediatric population.
- Peptic ulcer .
Avoid if you have:
- intolerance
- Allergy against flavonoids.
- Subconjunctival and retinal hemorrhages.
- Renal insufficiency.
Warnings:
- It is preferable to use the medicine in a treatment with a prescription.
- Do not combine it with antacid medications.
- Keep the drug out of the reach of children.
- Reserve at room temperature.
