What is ventolin?

Ventolin is a synthetic drug, with a short-lived rapid bronchodilator effect,which acts on the pulmonary tract to facilitate airflow. Its active substance is salbutamo l (assalbutamol sulfate), a medicine that works as an adrenergic receptor agonistwith some selectivity for beta 2 receptors. (1)
