Treda® is a drug composed of kaolin, pectin and neomycin. It is commercially available incapsule or tablet presentations, as well as oral syrupand is made bySanfer laboratories. (1)
This medicine is considered anintestinal antidiarrheal and bactericidethat fights diarrhea of infectious origin or not.
As for its doses, the treda® is indicated for children over six years one tablet or 5 ml of syrup, while in adults twice the dose is recommended, i.e. two tablets or 10 ml of syrup. It is recommended every 4 or 6 hours, as long as it is not chronic diarrhea.
Note: It can be indicated in infections ofEscherichia coli, Salmonella, Shigella, among other pathogens.
