Dexivant® is a commercial laboratory drug “Takeda Pharmaceutical Company”(1), made with the active ingredient called Dexlansoprazole, whose mechanism of action is to heal, provide relief from symptoms and reduce swelling of the walls of the esophagus in conditions that damage the same organ.

Dexivant® comes as a box of 14 capsules or capsules, extended-release of 60 mg and 30 mg of the active metabolite, with an oral route of administration and doses ranging from one 60 mg capsule daily to 30 mg daily for 4 to 8 weeks.
