What is bactrim?
Bactrim® is a drug composed of sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim as active ingredients, which aremedicines used for the treatment of infectionsof a bacterial nature. Together they are called bactrim®, being this product made byRoche laboratories. (1)
The presentation of bactrim® is intablets of 400 and 800 mg, in addition to a bottle with oral solution of 120 ml. It is also found inampoules for antibacterial and antiprotozoal chemotherapeutic therapies.
Important: Due to its nature and mechanism of action, its administration must be supervised by a specialist doctor, with the dosage every 12 hours.

1. Respiratory and ear infections
