Advil® is a commercial drug developed by Pfizer Laboratories. (1) Its compositionhas ibuprofen as an active ingredient, so it is considered a non-steroidal analgesic with the ability toreduce pain, inflammation and fever.
Advil® is a product with oral administration, soits presentations are mostly liquid capsules and tablets. The recommended dose of this drug is one tablet every six to eight hours, in individuals over 12 years of age. It is not recommended to take more than six capsules or tablets in a 24-hour period.
Note: This medicine due to its wide use and active substance, is over-the-counter. That is, it does not require a medical prescription for its acquisition.
