What is vivioptal?

Vivioptal® is a pharmaceutical product made with a German formula, which contains vitamins and minerals, which belongs to the line of multivitamin drugs intended to compensate for micronutrient deficiencies in the body of men and women.

What is vivioptal used for?

  • Vivioptal® is a multivitamin that contains components such as calcium ascorbate (equivalent to 60 mg of vitamin C), cobalt sulfate, folic acid , potassium chloride , calcium pantothenate, manganese, magnesium , vitamin b12 , pyridoxine , oxide of zinc , iron , biotin , vitamin B1 and soy lecithin among others, providing great benefits to people with micronutrient deficiencies, without side effects . (two)
  • It is used to treat: 
    • Vitamin deficiencies. (3)
    • Health states that demand a greater supply of vitamins and minerals.

Dosage and routes of administration of vivioptal

Vivioptal® is usually sold in boxes with 30, 60, 90, 105 and 120 capsules. The route of administration is oral and the dosage may be as follows: 

  • Adults and young people over 14 years of age: 1 capsule a day with breakfast or main meal. 

Vivioptal Side Effects

The use of vivioptal® can cause in certain patients some of the following side effects :

  • Possible allergic reactions by contact with any of the components of the formula.
  • Nausea, vomiting , and diarrhea may occur .

Important: If any of these symptoms appear during treatment with vivioptal®, please stop using it and consult your doctor . 

Vivioptal Contraindications and Warnings

Treatment with vivioptal® is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Hypersensitivity to any of the formula’s components.
  • Patients with gastritis or peptic ulcer .
  • People with kidney failure or liver failure.

You should know: Provide your doctor with all the information about your health history, before starting treatment with vivioptal®.

Avoid if you have:

  • History of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
  • Suspicion of some gastrointestinal dysfunction. 

Warnings:

  • Vivioptal® must be administered by prescription or prescription.
  • This medicine, if necessary, can be administered during pregnancy or lactation under medical supervision.
  • Consult your doctor if you are being medicated with other drugs, for other pathologies.
  • It is advisable to consume this medicine in the morning after the first meal.
  • Products such as vivioptal® should be kept out of the reach of children.
