It is anorally consumed product, which belongs to a class of so-calledphosphodiesterase inhibitors (PDE), and is used to treaterectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Note: It was originally developed by British scientists and then brought to market by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer.
Composition
The main and only component issildenafil or sildenafil.
Presentations and dosage
Coated tablets in packs of1, 2 and 4 of 25 and 50 mg. for oral use.
Dosage: The recommended dose is50mg taken on demand up to a maximum of100 mg. per day orally.
Uses of viasek
The main component of viasek, which is sildenafil, is indicated for two main pathological conditions, which we mention below:
Erectile dysfunction
Sildenafil is a product used to Treat erectile dysfunction because it increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. That increased blood flow can cause an erection.

Pulmonary arterial hypertension
Sildenafil Pulmonary arterial hypertension treats by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs to allow blood to flow more easily. A study entitled “Sildenafil and phosphodiesterase inhibitors in pulmonary hypertension” affirms the use of this active principle for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension. (two)
On the other hand, sildenafil is also used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and improves exercise capacity in men and women.

Viasek contraindications

Allergy to components
If you experience swelling of the face, lips, throat, or eyelids or difficulty breathing at the time of taking viasek, these symptoms may indicate an allergic reaction. Discontinue use and consult a doctor.
cardiovascular disorders
For patients who suffer from heart conditions or are sedentary , a Cardiovascular evaluationshould precede the use of this product. should precede prior to use of this product.

Care should be taken with the use of sildenafil , as sexual activity can put a strain on the heart, especially if you have heart disease.
Liver failure
The safety in the use of sildenafil has not been studied in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency, therefore it is advisable to consult your doctor before using it.
Ischemic optic neuropathy
Ischemic optic neuropathy is the sudden loss of central vision, side vision, or both, due to decreased or interrupted blood flow to the optic nerve. Sildenafil can decrease blood flow to that nerve, causing sudden vision loss.
Important: This medicine is contraindicated in those patients suffering from retinitis pigmentosa.

Priapism
Priapism is an unwanted and persistent erection that lasts more than 4 hours. It can occur spontaneously or be related to the use of certain antidepressants or drugs to treat erectile dysfunction.
If sildenafil has been used and the erection lasts a long time, blood becomes trapped in the oxygen-poor corpora cavernosa and begins to damage or destroy penile tissue. Discontinue use and seek immediate medical help.
Interaction with other drugs
Sildenafil is a component that causes vascular vasodilation in the muscles , enhancing the hypotensive effectsof nitrates. That is why its administration accompanied by medications that provide nitric oxide or nitrates is contraindicated.
Viasek Side Effects
There are people who are sensitive to the use of this medicine,and manifest uncomfortable effects in the body during its consumption. If you manifest any of them, inform your doctor.
Respiratory disorders
Respiratory conditions can occur in the use of viasek, such as: flu, bronchitis, cough, nasal congestion, among others.
Gastrointestinal disorders
In certain people, the use of viasekcan cause discomfort in the digestive tractsuch as: diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux, hemorrhoids, bloating, dry mouth.
Visual disturbances
Headache and muscle
The appearance of headaches and discomfort in the musculoskeletal apparatus such as pain in the extremities, muscle pain and back pain has been reported.
Anxiety and insomnia
The appearance of anxiety states and sleep disorders such as insomnia has also been reported in patients or people who have used this medication.
Alopecia
Night sweats
Night sweats are a side effect that appears frequently in people who consume sildenafil very frequently. This disease is characterized by increasing body temperature during sleep.
Note: There is no evidence that sildenafil causes dependence.
