What is tylex for?
- Tylex® is a drug that belongs to the line of analgesics, to treat the symptoms of pain from different partsof thebody in men and women.

Tylex dosage and routes of administration
Tylex® comes as a box,20 tablets of 750 mg or infant solution of 200 mg / mlwith analgesic action. The method of administration in both casesis oraland the dosage for information purposes may be as follows:
- Children over 12 and adults: Take one tablet of Tylex® 750 mg every 6 to 8 hours as directed by doctor.
- Children from 2 to 6 years of age: Take the dosage indicated on the pipette according to the child’s weight, 3 to 4 times a day according to medical recommendation.
- Children 6 to 12 years of age; Take 15 ml of the measuring cup every 6 hours without exceeding the indicated dose.
Tylex Side Effects
The consumption of tylex® can cause in certain patients, some of the following Adverse reactions :
- Possible allergic reactions from contact with any of the components of tylex®.
- Headache, tachycardia or arterial hypertension.
- Nausea, vomiting , constipation and abdominal pain.
- Drowsiness, dry mouth, hives and chills.
- Difficulty breathing, dry nose and throat.
- Risk of Nervous breakdown.
- Decreased blood count.
Important: If any of these manifestations appear during treatment with tylex®, please discontinue use and consult your doctor.
Tylex contraindications and warnings
Tylex® treatment is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components of this drug.
- In patients with liver diseases.
- In patients with urinary retention .
- Patients with severe coronary disease.
- In people with asthma or diabetes.
You should know: Before starting treatment with tylex®, it is advisable to provide your doctor with information regarding your health history.
Avoid if you have:
- Anticoagulant medication.
- Coagulation disorders.
- Peptic ulcer .
- Narrow angle glaucoma.
- Hyperthyroidism
- Prostatic hypertrophy.
Warnings:
- Do not administer this medicine to children under 2 years of age.
- Do not take this drug with alcohol.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Pharmaceutical products such as tylex® should not be mixed with anorectics and psychostimulants.
- This medication must be administered with a prescription.
- Keep this product out of the reach of children.
