What is the repafet used for?
- Thanks to the action of its active principle, repafet® is a non-sedative, selective and long-acting drug , which has intense antagonistic coverage against histamine H1 receptors and platelet activating factor receptors, which allows relief of the characteristic symptoms of allergic processes .

Dosage and routes of administration of repafet
Repafet® comes in a box with tablets, containing rupatadine fumarate equivalent to 10 mg. It is administered orally and the recommended dosage for information is as follows:
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: One tablet (10 mg) once a day, with or without food.
Repafet side effects
Data from clinical studies have described that treatment with repafet® has caused, in a certain group of people , some of the following adverse reactions listed below:
- Manifestations of allergic symptoms in patients who have had contact with components of the formula.
- Attention disorder.
- Nausea, diarrhea , dyspepsia, vomiting , abdominal pain , constipation , and headache .
- Back pain, arthralgia, myalgia and fatigue.
- Epistaxis, nasal dryness, pharyngitis, cough, throat dryness, pharyngolaryngeal pain and rhinitis.
- Drowsiness, increased appetite, thirst, malaise, and pyrexia.
Important: If during the therapeutic treatment with repafet® some of these manifestations occur or another not included, please do not continue with the therapy and consult your doctor .
Repafet contraindications and warnings
The use of repafet® is contraindicated in any of the following cases:
- Patient hypersensitivity to rupatadine.
- In patients with renal insufficiency.
- In people with liver failure.
- In case of galactose intolerance.
- During the pregnancy period, since its efficacy and safety in this population have not been demonstrated.
- During breastfeeding .
- In children under 12 years of age.

Avoid if you have:
