Dosage and routes of administration of proteflor
The presentations of proteflor® are in the form of a food supplement in a bottle containing powder or capsules, with beneficial bacteria of Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus rhamnosus lgg, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium lactis in different concentrations of UFC, sunflower oil and carbohydrates, among other components.
It is also presented in the form of a drop solution in an 8 ml bottle, which contains, in addition to the previous components, vitamin B1 , vitamin B2, vitamin B12 and minerals as a food supplement . The administration of this nutritional supplement is orally and the recommended dosage as a reference can be as follows:
- Proteflor® powder: Children over 3 years of age and older adults, 1 sachet twice a day dissolved in half a glass of water, juice or milk.
- Proteflor® capsules: Children over 3 years, one capsule twice a day and for adults 2 capsules twice a day.
- Proteflor® drops : For infants 6 drops 2 times a day.

Therapeutic treatment with proteflor® has caused, in a certain population of patients , some of the following adverse effects mentioned below:
- Allergic manifestations in the patient due to contact with any component of the supplement formula.
- Nausea, constipation and diarrhea .
- Difficulty swallowing and dry mouth.
- Headache and abdominal pain .

Contraindications and warnings of proteflor
Therapy with proteflor® is contraindicated in any of the situations mentioned below:

- In stages of pregnancy and lactation , without medical supervision.
