What is dalatin for?

Dosage and routes of administration of dalatine

Dalatin is soldin a tube containing gel containingclindamycin® phosphate equivalent to 1 gr. The route of administrationis topicaland the dosage as a referential may be as follows:

  • Acne: After performing asepsis on the affected area, place a thin layer with a light massage at least twice a day (morning and evening).

Side effects of dalatine

Treatment with dalatina®may cause some of the following side effects in a certain patient population:

  • Possible appearance of allergies due to contact with any component of the drug.
  • Dry skin, erythema, skin burning sensation, periocular irritation.
  • Acne exacerbation, itching, dryness.
  • Possible gastrointestinal reactions, abdominal pain .

Contraindications and warnings of dalatin

  • History of antibiotic-associated colitis , enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or Crohn ‘s disease .

Warnings:

  • Pharmaceutical products such as dalatin® must be administered with a prescription or prescription.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes and nasal and oral mucosa.
  • Keep in mind that clindamycin interacts with other drugs such as erythromycin , Metronidazole or aminoglycosides, so there must be medical approval for its administration.
