What is the compound malival used for?
- Thanks to the mechanism of joint action of its active ingredients, the malival compound® has an inhibitory action on the synthesis of prostaglandins, providing analgesic and anti-inflammatory efficacy to different painful processes, as well as offering a muscle relaxing effect while reducing spasm .
- It is used to treat:

Dose and routes of administration of the compound malival
Malival Compound® is presented in a box with capsules containing indomethacin 25 mg and methocarbamol 215 mg. The administration of this medication is orally and the dosage for information may be as follows:
- Capsules: A dose of one capsule every 4-6 hours is recommended, depending on the intensity of the symptoms and the judgment of the treating physician.
Compound Malival Side Effects
Therapeutic treatment with malival compound® may cause some of the following adverse reactions in a certain population of patients :
- Allergic reactions due to contact with any component of the formula.
- Nausea, anorexia, vomiting , epigastric discomfort.
- Abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea .
- Single or multiple ulcers, including perforation and bleeding of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, or large intestine.
- Jaundice or elevated liver enzymes.
- Drowsiness, headache , vertigo, depression and fatigue.
- Peripheral neuropathy with weakness or paresthesia of the hands and feet.
- Itching, rash and urticaria.
- Alopecia and psoriasis.
- Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis.
Important: If the patient manifests any of these symptoms or another not described, please discontinue use and consult your doctor .
Contraindications and warnings of the compound malival
The use of malival compound® is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Patient hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
- Patients with perioperative pain from coronary by-pass.
- Patients with active peptic ulcer .
- In children under 12 years of age.
- Patients with medication for other pathologies without the authorization of the doctor.
- During the period of pregnancy or breastfeeding .
