What is carbotural used for?
- Thanks to its mechanism of action, carbotural® is used as a medicine that acts as an absorbent material for toxic molecules contained in gases and substances, to alleviate the symptoms associated with certain gastrointestinal conditions.
- It is used to treat:
- Digestive disorders to absorb intestinal gases .
- Flatulence, bloating and dyspepsia.
- Diarrhea and halitosis as an adjuvant.

Dosage and routes of administration of carbotural
Carbotural® comes in a box with 60 tablets, containing 250 mg activated carbon. The administration of this substance is orally and the way of dosing can be as follows:
- Tablets: Take 2 to 4 tablets after each meal.
Carbotural Side Effects
Therapeutic treatment with carbotural® can cause in a certain group of people , any of the following adverse reactions mentioned below:
- Possible appearance of allergic reactions by contact with any component of the substance.
- Diarrhea, constipation and vomiting.
- Possible darkening of feces.
- Decreases the absorption of nutrients.
- It can reduce the effect of medicines.

Contraindications and warnings of carbotural
The consumption of carbotural® is contraindicated in any of the following situations:
- Hypersensitivity of the patient to the components of the product.
