Agin® is the brand name of a medicine, which uses the combination of three active ingredients whichare ascorbic acid(1), acetylsalicylic acidandsulfadiazine, chemical compounds belonging to the line of drugs that strengthen the immune system, antiplatelet drugs, analgesics, antipyretics and antibiotics, with effect on certain diseases of the body.

What is agin for?
- Thanks to the mechanism of joint action of its active ingredients, agin®manages to reduce fever and pain caused by infectionsfrom bacteria, in addition to eliminating them.
- It is used to treat:
- Pain and swelling inthe ears, mouth, nose, pharynxandthroat. (3)
- Tonsillitis.
- Joint pain and inflammation (arthritis).
Dosage and routes of administration of agin
The presentation of agin® is in a box of of 20 tablets,with a concentration of 300 mg. The administrationis orally and the informative dosage can be as follows:
- Adults and children over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 to 3 tablets per day, with water and without chewing.
side effects of agin
Therapeutic treatment with agin® can cause, in a certain patient population , some of the following adverse effects:
- Possible allergic reactions due to contact with any component of the drug.
- Stomach pain , diarrhea , peptic ulcer .
- Anemia and gastritis .
- Edema and bronchospasm.
- Reversible visual disturbances.
Important: Please stop using agin® and consult your doctor, if during treatment with this drug you experience any of these symptoms or another that does not appear on the list.
Contraindications and warnings of agin
The use of agin® is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Patient hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
- Patients with heart failure, hemophilia, kidney or liver problems.
- People with coagulation problems, dengue or women during menstruation.
- During the pregnancy period.
- During breastfeeding .
You should know: Provide all the information related to your health history to your doctor, before starting treatment with this drug.
Avoid if you have:
- History of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula.
- Medication with anticoagulant drugs such as warfarin or heparin .
Warnings:
- Products such as agin® must be administered with a prescription or prescription.
- You should bear in mind that this medication should not be mixed with drinks containing alcohol.
- Do not combine with other medicines for other pathologies, without medical authorization.
